Your cart is empty. Call it crampons/krampons/crampins or snow trax, (Yea, we are surprised by how people call this stuff)
Our shoe spikes is between beginner & professional:
More professional than mere shoe traction devices from Kahtoola ice cleats, Mountaineering snow trax
But cut less deep than professional mountain climbing ice cleats from Petzl crampons

We live in the mountains so my husband uses these on his boots to cut the grass on the slopes in our yard. Worked great. He was able to get to places he can’t get to with boot. Helps prevent slipping. They barely fit over the boots though. Wish they made a larger option

Great purchase on uneven icy surfaces with that said they’re not for ice climbing.

The purpose of these eludes me. They are as heavy as full steel crampons, but lacking adequate front points for anything terrain you would want to use crampons on. They lack the packable nature and weight savings of micro spikes, but these would only be safe on micro spike terrain. They do seem well built, so that's good.

Review for: Nomadnia Crampons for Hiking Boots Men/Women, Unisex Spikes for Shoes, Shoe Traction Devices for Hiking, Snow Walking, Jogging, Universal Fit. (One Size Orange)These "crampons" appear as if they will be useful when winter comes. They have big spikes compared to the chain type traction devices available here on amazon (similar to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FY4596P) that I have been using for a few years now in casual snow and ice hiking. They apply to my boot easier, but I worry a bit about how well they will stay on with only one buckle. The photos show the crampon applied to a size 11 Oboz winter boot. They are not going to fit anything larger than this, adjusted to maximum size.I have an issue with the way they are adjusted, there is one screw that connects the front and back parts of the crampon (see photo). That screw faces down to the ground for one, and it seems like it would be easy to come loose and get lost while walking. I plan to use some Loctite on the screw in hope that helps keep it secure. The front claws do not extend much beyond my toes (see photo), I will see how that works out once winter is here and I get time to walk in the woods.Want to put them back in the provided storage bag once they are adjusted to your foot? Sorry, unless your shoe is very small they are not going back in the bag unless you adjust them to their smallest size again. One of the photos shows this.I think the crampons are going to wear on the sole of my foot, where the metal tabs turn up at front and back of the boot. They are rather tight against my boot (see photo). But, I guess that is to be expected. You can see in one of the photos where my other spikes have done the same.My normal winter woods walking involves rock as well as snow and ice. I am wondering how these will feel when walking on rocky ground. My other spikes are not really comfortable when doing that, if these are not worse, I will be happy. I expect they will feel better than the cheap chain kind of spikes.I expect these spikes will be nicer overall than the cheaper chain/rubber spikes I have been using. Can not wait to find out! It is August now but I am already looking forward to getting out for some winter entertainment. It looks like I will like these spikes despite the potential flaws. I will not know for sure until mid January 2025 (hopefully there will be snow and ice then) and will try to update this review at that time.

These crampons fit well on my hiking boots and give great traction on icy surfaces. I've used them on snowy trails and even a slick, icy road, and they definitely give you peace of mind. They come in a small carrying case that fits easily in my backpack, so they're convenient to take along in case the weather turns bad. The material seems sturdy, with metal spikes and rubbery bands that hold everything together.Overall, a good option for basic winter hiking or walking on slippy surfaces. They seem well-made and easy to use, especially for the price. Just keep in mind they may not be suitable for super technical climbing.

Just got these for next winter, so honestly haven't used them yet on ice, but, having owned several pair over the years I can say these are relatively well-made and I'm confident they are going to stand up to use. The webbing and connectors are good quality and the overall build is not too heavy. The crampon points themselves are the usual heavy-duty steel. Looking forward to using them for real.

These crampons fit on my hiking boots quite well and are good for climbing on slippery terrain such as glaciers. It comes neatly packed in a portable case and works well
