I have only used them twice, once on smooth ice, and once on rough ice. On smooth ice, you have to still be careful as the cleats have smooth tips so they can still slide a little on smooth ice. The cleats are great on rough ice. You can walk normally, but you should still be cautious as you can always hit a smooth path which is a bit more prone to slipping.I ordered two sets based on two shoe sizes. They were really hard to install on our snow/hiking boots. We did get them on as they can be stretched quite a bit. I would recommend ordering a size bigger that the chart specifies if you are going to put them on bulkier boots. Once on the boots, we will leave them on until Spring. They are very noisy on bare concrete and asphalt. You wont be sneaking up on any wildlife wearing these. We do feel safer wearing the cleats. We had a concern that the heal cleats were too far forward so the boot heal would contact the ice before the cleat, but the cleat does hit the ice before the boot heal, so there is no problem. As this is the first season, I have no opinion about the durability. I have a little concern that because we had to really stretch the cleats to put them on the boot, the rubber may fatigue quickly and eventually tear. So far, no problem.I recommend these cleats, but be mindful of the tight fit and maybe order a size larger that specified by the chart.

They slip off. So I have no photos to show. The snow was only an inch high but they were wore due to the icy sidewalks. But they slipped off even if t fitted. I had to put it on snugly.

I am glad I go these. I needed another pair for my winter shoes and I though they woudl work on my boots or mud bogs, they wont. These ar emade for normal shoes, or maybe if I ordered a larger set that might work. In any case, they work very well.

I wear size 8 shoes and I had a really hard time putting XL on my shoes.I will probably need to purchase another pair of shoes because I’m finding it hard to put them on my shoes and taken them off 😩So I have to keep these grips on and keep them spare in my shoe bag for when it snows and gets icy.

I purchased this for a family member who is a senior citizen with mobility issues. He just had knee surgery and is still doing rehab/exercises so he needs some stability in the winter. These are not going to be used for hiking or doing anything more than going in and out of the car and maybe walking around town doing errands. They seem well made, nice stretch, and they will help keep him from slipping on the snow or wet pavement which is what we needed. These are priced perfectly for what you get. I wouldn't suggest wearing them for anything too strenuous since the spikes in the bottom could probably fall off as other reviewers pointed out. However, if you're looking to stabilize someone elderly or who is recovering form surgery and might not be great on their feet, this is a good investment for a low pricepoint.

This is a good idea as you don't have to have shoes with snow cleats and then have to bring other shoes for inside the house. If you live in snow weather, it would be good to leave these in your car as they do not take up a lot of room. I have not had a chance to try these on ice or snow, but from what I can see they should work well. The cleats seem to be solidly in place due to the large backing that you can see in my pictures. The cleats shouldn't work loose with this type of design. But, again, I have not tried them on the snow and don't know what will happen long term if you use them frequently, which is the only reason I gave it a 4 star vs. 5 star rating. It took a little effort to put these over my shoes which is a size 9. I was shipped a large to review. However, looking at their chart, I should have gotten an XL for my shoe size. I did not have a choice when I ordered these through Amazon Vine. If I lived in a state where it snows, or go up to the snow frequently, I would definitely consider buying these.

I got these GT20 Light Ice Snow Grips Cleat Crampons to use in the winter when my driveway freezes, and they seem ok. They are easy to put on and take off, and they fit snugly over my boots. They appear to provide excellent traction on icy and snowy surfaces, and they are durable. I can be much safer and more confident walking on slippery terrain with these cleats. They are also lightweight and compact, so I can carry them in my backpack without any hassle. I would recommend these cleats to anyone who needs an extra grip in winter conditions.
