New fangle tool, feels too specialized for my liking. Very happy the was a training video. Had to keep playing the training video on YouTube. Great quality and non skid. I like that it is clear and no color. I have a yellow cutting rule that I find hard to keep accurate cuts with.

I like Creative Grid products. The ruler arrived in original packaging and without defects. This order was a replacement. The first on arrived damaged but the box it arrived in was not. I give the ruler a 5 but a 1 for the first product arriving damaged.

I love using this ruler. I have not made Cat's Cradle, but I have used it on Crazy Ann, Old Maid's Puzzle, Pershing, and other standard blocks. No fabric waste, measurements for cut pieces and finished size are on the ruler. You get two perfect triangle-square-triangle corners with each cut, so you save lots of time, and you never cut a triangle. The ruler designer is a genius! Easy to understand instructions with diagrams for each step come with the ruler. I found the You tube video helpful to see how the designer used the ruler. I ordered the one that goes up to a 4 inch finished block, but will be ordering the extra large that goes up to 10 inches.
