Great looking! Perfect size. I like that it is wide so it's great for Chili as well as saute. It will not replace my standard 4 quart Dutch oven for Chili and stews but can be used for them as well as for application not requiring 4 or 5 inches in height. It's way more practical than a "shallow" ceramic cast iron. I would buy again. Great for the oven as well.

This is a great pan. Yes, it’s heavy, but it is cast iron, and should last for a very long time. Because cast iron heats evenly, you do not need to cook on high heat. Doing so, can cause the food to burn and make it very difficult to clean possibly causing it no longer to be non stick. My husband loves them, but I have to remind him medium heat will get the doneness he wants just as fast. Make sure you let the pan cool completely before washing in hot soapy water. After rinsing, I wipe it down with a couple paper towels. Then I put it in a warm oven to allow it to dry completely. Some have complained that the edge is rusting on their pan. Putting it in a warm oven will prevent any rust from forming. I also have 2 ceramic Dutch ovens as well as a smaller ceramic skillet. I am happy with all of them. I highly recommend this pan.

Product was delivered damaged. A replacement was sent which was also damaged. The enamel exterior is chipped and scratched. Nice color, though…. Too bad!

Overall we like the enameled cast iron pot. It arrived with no damage. The pot looked as pictured on the website. Cooking with it is easy and easy clean up. It seems a weakness of all enameled cast iron cookware is cracking and chipping of the enamel. It was very disappointing that the handle enamel on our potchipped off when the lid was lightly dinged against the handle when we went to put the lid on top. At least we didn’t pay the inflated prices of “luxury” brands of enameled cookware. I have found the cheaper brands of this type of product work just as well.

Love the colour bad packaging item chips in enamel all over pan and lid from USA so return postage is 110quid to return so the gamble of getting item without damage is odds against

Fantastic piece of cookware. I suppose one could pay three times the amount for a fancy French brand, but I don’t know why. This thing is HEAVY and well enameled. Take it from the range top to the oven, or vice versa. Red color matches my other Crock Pot Artisan pieces. Slight negative? The factory packaging only covers the body of the pot and lid, leaving the long handle and helper handle exposed. As a result, my piece arrived with a slight scratch on the long handle. I’m not concerned as I actually use my cookware, and before long it will develop its own unique patina inherent to quality cookware. I only mention this to warn those who see cookware as a decoration about the possibilities. Otherwise, Crock Pot Artisan continues to impress with their quality and value. Highly recommended.
