having one of these decocking heads attached to an arrow makes it much easier to decock your crossbow since the only safe way to do so is to shoot the crossbow with an arrow in place. This decocking head stops the arrow from sticking into the target or ground. So far, it hasn't caused any damage to the arrow but I'm wondering if it might over time, so I have them on a couple of older arrows that I consider past their prime.

With this I don't have to worry about losing the bolt too damage or the field. Just change out the hunting bolt with this one and fire it into the ground near myself just try to avoid rocks and or anything else that's hard they don't like that even with the tip on.

So nice having these at the end of the day and not worrying about driving the bolt either too far, or have it disappear into the ground (to never be seen again). The color and materials are of good quality.

Every crossbow hunter has been there.....the end of the day and your bow is loaded and cocked. "Un-cocking" the crossbow without causing any damage to the bolt or the bow string can be a challenge, but the sntxmy Crossbow Decocking Bolt Head makes that task easier and far more safe. Simply remove the loaded bolt, remove the arrow head and replace with the decocking bolt head and 'fire' the bolt into soft ground and viola, you're de-cocked and your bolt is undamaged.It doesn't get much easier and I have never found a way that is safer than using this device. This is a VERY cost effective way to manage the de-cocking and it will provide years of service.

These are much better than using a field point that will drive a bolt down into the dirt, making bolt dirty and hard to pull out or even find. I highly recommend using these over any decocking mechanism your bow may have, as I have seen anti-dry fire bows partially dry fire while decocking and causing damage.

Got this to discharge my crossbow into the ground after the hunt. They are well made and nice blue color. It also came with two field points. Only issue is when installing them I had to use pliers to tighten the field point as you can’t get a good grip with your fingers due to the design. Besides this, they are great so far.

Used them on two different crossbows and they work great. Very easy to install on your bolt, great instructions. These are a little lighter then the ones I have seen before but they stop the bolts fast.

Added weight helps reduce stress on limbs and the bolt doesnt go very far into the ground. Must have for those who shoot crossbows.
