  • Genuine CTS pots, the brand used by nearly every American guitar company for half a century!
  • 500k 10% audio-taper, mimics the logarithmic way humans perceive changes in volume better than any other taper.
  • 1/4" solid-shaft, designed for knobs with setscrews.
  • 3/8-32 bushing thread is 3/8" diameter, 1/4" long. For mounting to pickguards or control plates.
  • CTS low torque design (dimpled back) is easy to turn, this is the style used on Teles since the 1950s.

This is a 4-pack of our CT-450S3929 500k pots. CTS pots are the standard of the industry for good reason. Used by Gibson and Fender for many, many years, they are easily the most trusted brand in guitar pots. Ours are made specifically for us by CTS, to their tightest tolerance (10%). Appropriate hardware in included: lockwasher (use inside the guitar), flat washer & nut (use outside the guitar). The right parts to get the job done.

500k pots can be hard to find with the short threaded bushings that are ideal for mounting to pickguards and control plates. Ours are made for us using the CTS low-torque design that makes them easy to turn, like the ones that Fender uses (which are also made by CTS). These have a 1/4" diameter solid shaft that is perfect for knobs that are held in place with setscrews.

Great product, great price, will need to enlarge the holes on foreign guitars to accommodate shaft diameter of pot.

All the forums of guitar nerds argue incessantly about dumb stuff like potentiometers and wire thickness all in the interest of “tone”. I am a sucker and got the “right” ones. They make the volume of each pickup get louder as you turn it clockwise.

I wanted to write a quick review for this company. When I received these, they were split shaft pots, and I had ordered solid shaft tone pots. The sticker on the package didn't match the item, and I think that's where the problem occurred. I sent them a quick email, and they responded incredibly fast! They got me the actual parts I ordered even faster. It's easy to give a good review when things go smooth, but they *earned* a great review for when there was a hiccup. Fast response, clear communication. Great company!

Los mejores potenciometros para mi Jazzbass con humbukers, y perfecta compatibilidad con los knods de Fender original, gracias al vendedor por tener estos potenciometros, potes de eje sólido de 500k no son comunes en España..

CTS Pots are the only pots I purchase for my guitar builds. They are reliable, always with 10% of their stated resistance, smooth control adjustment, no scratchy sounds when moving the controls.

I was replacing mini pots with split shaft so that meant buying a new set of knobs along with these pots. These pots have solid shafts. I assumed, and the image looked this way, that there would be a flat side to accommodate the screw in the knobs but they are fully round. I also assumed that a diameter of .25inch would work with a knob which is designed for 6mm but its not the case. That is my fault but I thought it worth pointing out for other buyers
