These worked perfect to re-carpet my performance trailer that has two 11 foot long bunks that are 4" wide. The material is thick & of good quality. Wow what a differenvce it makes now launching & loading the 7000lb boat onto my trailer. I get aboyt three years out of carpet until its time to change again.

I ordered three rolls of 8” wide by 12 feet long to cover 2x4 bunks because it was on sale thinking they would likely substitute 9” wide rolls based on numerous reviews. They actually substituted 12” wide rolls which may seem generous on their part; however, it added significant work on my part to cut every roll to 9” wide to properly fit a 2x4 bunk leaving the necessary drainage gap. Otherwise, the product was easy to install and appears to be high quality.

This does have a backing but it’s not super obvious so pay attention. I did use carpet adhesive for the main face of the board but I found a really good trick that makes the job even easier. Once I got the adhesive on and placed the board down I went back with 3M 90 spray adhesive and hit the sides, bottom and carpet. This made it so I could just complete the entire wrap and then come back with the stapler in one quick easy pass. Eliminated working inch by inch. You’ll thank me later

I have used other carpets for making boat trailer bunks but this is the best I have used. The other stuff I have used seems to really thin out after a couple years and needs replaced. This material was about twice as thick as the others I have tried, and it has held up nicely so far after the first season. I will buy it again if I need to do any more boat bunks.

I have a ranger 188vs which needed new bunks. I researched different bunk carpet and finally decided on this one. I'm very impressed. Really well made material. Had more than enough to complete the project. I used Roberts 6700 adhesive. also five stars.

They do a nice job marketing these and the videos are well produced. I do think the quality is very nice and have been a great upgrade to the sand-filled carpet that was on the trailer of my used boat. My boat said "ahhhh" the first time I drove the boat onto them.
