I received my package as expected. I replaced an old one but this one was improved with a swivel display.. I love it as it makes it easier to see the display from any angle.

This is the second time I have purchased this thermometer. The first lived up to heavy, nearly daily use for many years. The reason I needed to replace it is because the wires eventually pulled away from the metal probe. But seriously, it lasted so long. We therm our meat as to cook it properly but not overcook it, so we use it for most meals and my husband is not gentle with it. I appreciate that it is so simple, just what we need.

We got this to replace a Webber instant read thermometer that our dog destroyed. Unfortunately this one takes a while to get a reading. We get around 7-10 degrees per second on meat. Could be way faster.
