Fixed the problem I was having with the smoker overheating because it couldn't read the temp anymore. I keep the metal guard off, so I can clean the probe after each use. I don't ever bump it hard enough to damage it with the being all the way in the back.

Fixed my pit boss smoker. The temp began to heat up and would start cooling off when I knew it was getting hotter. Then it would throw an error. I replaced the bad part with this probe and it has been great ever since!
