This cuckoo clock is absolutely darling! We ordered this with the intention of giving it to my Mother in Law next Christmas. However, my husband fell in love with it, mounted it in our living room, and there it will remain! It is so cute! It is well made, and while it has the traditional cuckoo clock functions, it is adorably different with a rooster, hen, chicks and a coop area, and a pine tree, adorning the base. It has that great Bavarian flavor in the design and coloration of the clock and the pinecone pendulum chains. We like the ability to include or turn off the chime melody, and the night time mode, preventing the sounds from going off during sleep hours. Our cockatiel loves the cuckoo bird and always turns and watches it when he comes out every hour! He might be thinking the cuckoo is another bird. We are very happy to include this lovely cuckoo clock in our home!

A decent replica of the ones before batteries. Minor imperfections most would not notice, but can easily be fixed. Like the cuckoo with moving wings. Songs are kinda meh, but they can be turned off. I want a wind up one, but they are many times the price. Happy with this one!

I grew up with a cuckoo clock, and it came with a lot of fuss and bother. The weights had to be reset, and it would go off in the middle of the night and wake people up. It didn’t keep very good time either, but I still loved it. I love this one too. It does not have the perfect hand-carved all-wood black forest feel to it, but it is very cute. It is mostly wooden - only the little details like the chickens are not. The clock mechanism is quartz, so it keeps good time. It has a light sensor, so it does not go off in the middle of the night, and the cuckoo is pretty and flaps it’s wings. Winner!!!

This little coocoo clock is very kitschy and very cute! The pendulums are purely decorative but add to the aesthetic. The little plastic figures are a little cheap looking but again it is kitschy and camp so kind of expected! The songs are different every hour so that's a cute surprise as well. You can disable the sound though thankfully for those who don't like to hear it. We do get a kick out of it though. Makes a good gift too if you have the right audience! Overall a solid value for a fun decoration and functional clock.

My husband's parents had an authentic cuckoo clock (from Germany) hanging in their home for basically the entirety of his life, I thought this would be a sweet reminder to hang in our home. I have to admit, after only viewing/listening to their authentic clock all those years that it took us a bit of time to adjust to the look of this. Clearly this is a MUCH more (a fraction of the cost) affordable version so it will not have the craftsmanship nor quality of an authentic clock. That being said, it has already brought joy to our ears, it's so sweet hearing it sound off. I chose to hang it in a narrow space on the wall, so it doesn't seem to get "swallowed up" by a large area. It actually looks perfect in that spot, which happens to be in our kitchen. The clock sounds nice, it has kept time correctly and we will enjoy this. I did remove 1/2 star because we feel the attached animals are a bit too generic and cheap looking. I will likely "age" them a bit to take away from the look. I am considering removing those items to add miniature wooden (not plastic) figurines/pieces. Something more inline with what an authentic cuckoo clock scene would have. Once again, considering the price, we do think this is a great clock.

Requires 3 C batteries that I was unaware of. Easy to assemble, but the batteries were difficult to install. Very cute. My kid love seeing the cuckoo pop out at the top of the hour. The music is lovely and gives such a whimsy atmosphere to my usually chaotic home. It is smaller than expected and I wish the pinecones were functional. I grew up with a real German cuckoo and this is reminiscent without having to wind the clock.

I recently got this cuckoo clock, and it’s very cute. The design is nice, and the details make it really stand out. It has12 melodies choose from and comes with a volume control and music off option. The night mode is useful, so it doesn’t go off when we’re sleeping. It’s a fun and decorative clock that adds some charm to our bedroom. We would definitely recommend this clock to anyone.

The packaging is cute, it's a basic brown cardboard box but the designs on it are attractive and old-timey, and would make for a nice gift.Super easy to assemble, you just need to hang the little wooden weights and pendulum on the little hooks, add batteries , set the time (by turning the minutes hands *clockwise*, this is important!) and you're good to go.The clock has kept time correctly so far (a few days).Requires 3 "c" batteries, which is a lot, and I have yet to know how long they will last. I might have to get rechargeables.The way the settings are designed isn't super intuitive, but the instructions sheet does help.You can set it to music+bird, or bird only, or silent.You can also adjust the overall volume.The night mode is dependent on ambient light (it has a sensor) so if your light is turned on at night it will still sing. You can always turn down the volume however.Synchronizing the number of cuckoo sounds with the time was the most counterintuitive part.Partly because -and this is my biggest peeve with it- it cuckoos twice as much as it should. At first I thought maybe it was broken because the little bird would move/sing only for every other cuckoo sound. Then I realized that it's meant as some sort of echo, there's one "real" cuckoo sound, then another distant one which doesn't count, so you hear four cuckoos at two o'clock, etc. Yes this means you hear 22 cuckoos at 11 o'clock. I very much dislike this decision.I also would have liked a more classic sound, this is very clearly a small speaker that doesn't have the charm of real mechanical cuckoo clocks, but I appreciate the convenience of being able to control the volume so in the end it's a good trade off.Overall it's a nice-looking product but the electronics aren't top-tier, for that price.
