These 1" in diameter clear balls are a pretty darn good value in my opinion. They are not this ugly green hue I have seen in others, they are pretty darn clear with only minor flaws such as very subtle surface pitting due to clunking into one another during shipping. The 3 lb bag contains 3 one-pound nets. This was my third order of this brand, and so far I have not had any damage. I have also bought their blue balls which are very pretty and uniform in color.

Product was exactly as advertised. They are quite beautiful and reminiscent of "Peacock Blue" marbles I bought as a kid - only these are larger size.

. Normal sized marbles I would compare to roughly the size of a penny round. These marbles are closer to the size of a quarter around. They’re bigger than I had anticipated. But they’re pretty so I just had to use them anyway. I use them in vases for a base of dried plant.

Great large size, they are actually true to the photo color for the green ones that i bought, they are great on transparency, and there are 22 of them in my bag, BUT they have taken a serious beating to put this many tiny nicks and dings all over them!!! You can't tell through the netting, but as soon as you take them out you start worrying about glass dust and tiny glass shards, because they look like someone's been bouncing them off of cement repeatedly!!! I don't mind the few defects in the glass, but I'm highly disappointed in the surface condition!!!!! I think they will still work for my project since it will be viewed at a distance, but these are certainly not for displaying up close!!! Maybe if you are going to put them in water it won't show, but i haven't tried that so can't be sure. I won't be buying any more!!!

I noticed some reviews said these were not clear but green tinged, which is what I was actually hunting for. I did NOT want perfectly clear marbles, so the pale green tint was perfect for my needs. I tried to include pictures with daylight in different directions and in more shadowy lighting so you can see the color. Most glass actually isn't perfectly clear - you can usually see the green tint on the edges of a pint glass or food storage container, so for this price, I was hoping to get a good pale green tint. Now if you absolutely need them to be perfectly clear, these aren't the marbles for you. But I'm 100% happy with my purchase and will definitely buy more in the future. The marbles arrived in great condition with no cracks. On some of them, there's a little tiny swirl where they came out of the mold is my guess, but for me that's a bonus and works well for my art project.
