Using it to drive a couple hundred watts of LEDs with beautiful, smooth DC power. Works great. No (visible) flicker, even on fast objects, at different brightness (voltage) levels.

Used the Daedalus P500W to replace the Grizzly mini lathe G8688 controller board, PN P8688182V2. It works perfectly, and with not much effort it fit inside the same housing as the original board. I also used the same Grizzly safety switch, but replaced the Grizzly speed controller potentiometer with the one that came with the P500W power supply.

Trying to power a 1/2 horsepower motor. 120v input.Motor has extremely low torque. Pretty disappointing. Useless for my application

Das Gerät funktioniert wunderbar mit einem 100V Fräsmotor für meine 3020 Graviermaschine.Es liegt ein Potentiometer zur Drehzahlregelung bei. Einen mach3 Adapter könnte man anschließen, es gibt dafür einen Drehzahleingang, der als Stellwert 0-10V erwartet.Leider hat dieses Netzteil keinen PWM Eingang zur Drehzahlregelung.

The power supply I received was slightly different than the one pictured, which wouldn’t have been a big deal but it would not output any voltage to the motor at all after plugging in everything that was needed.

I purchased this power supply to power the typical Pro3018CNC upgrade 500W motor. Testing it prior to use, I discovered that the 'motor' terminals output a steady 163VDC no matter whether controlling it with a potentiometer or 0-10VDC. Additionally, the tiny instruction leaflet provides nearly no information about the device's indicator lights or voltage adjustments. I understand the risks of using this kind of equipment, but I had hoped for better in 2021. So much effort is put into design obfuscation (cloaking parts in black resin and opaque boxes, scuffing off component designators), that repair and troubleshooting is made impossible.Again, I had hoped for better, but am disappointed in this Daedalus Spindle Power Supply.
