Well, ain't this just handy as a pocket! I make jewelry and build dollhouses and this is just perfect for tiny projects. So much of what I do is too delicate and precise for a big power drill. You get a lot for the price. The drill bits alone are worth it! I have had a tough time finding tiny bits. And the little vise is like an extra hand! Love it all!

Dont be deceived by the marketing- there are literally hundreds of the same product sold on Amazon as a "hand drill" but the fact is it is not a drill, it is a bit holder that can be used to facilitate drilling in certain, very limited circumstances. Essentially, YOU are the drill. Note the finger protectors included, generally used to prevent burns from hot glues and such, why would one need those for drilling? Bc You are the power and your phalanges 🤞 are the motor. And, you will probably need more of them to drill just a starter hole for a screw in wood such as a 2x4 Otherwise you will have blisters on your thumb and whatever fingertip used. For just one starter hole. Composite wood materials may be easier to drill but I absolutely I can't imagine drilling into resin or seashells tbh. Just sayin'. It is what it is, and what it is, is a tiny Vise to hold very small objects, kinda like a manual screwdriver with an adjustable clutch. That's what I purchased for, and I chose this particular product out of the many options for same because of the finger protectors and the tiny bench vise included as I frequently have use for those. I was not expecting to drill anything with this, actually I purchased a real, cheap but functional hand drill at same time from Amazon warehouse to have as backup. I use them for starter holes in wood or plastic in small confined areas, using regular drill bits and, well, that's about it.What I needed was an extension for a tiny hex key to reach into a confined space. This little pin vise did the trick, but I did make couple of modifications to keep the bit hub from loosening. I would give 4 solid stars for the vise effectiveness but for me, drilling attempts were a bust. I thought I'd check it out, you know? LOL. Life is too short for all that! I estimate it would take hours upon hours - to drill a significant or even noticeable indention in any hard-ish surface. Seashells? Yeah, uhh, No. Ain't happening. A scratch. maybe. Anything deeper, I'm guessing days, weeks, months with the micro bits. The bits included are small to extremely tiny micro sized- like thin straight pins. So Delicate. I can see use for computer repair and other fine precision requirements, but I don't got enough patience for all that. I snapped one of the itsy bitsy ones testing on a piece of cellophane tape spanning a 1 inch divide. Smh. But again I have no patience or finesse with delicate things. So, to summarize:Hand Dill: 0⭐.Pin vise: 4⭐⭐⭐⭐Deceptive Marketing: less than 0⭐ Thoughtfulness of seller to include finger cots:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.I decline to make judgement on true quality of bits included, as I have no experience with anything similar .Overall, It's not a bad product, I would buy again as it's very handy to have, it's just not represented honestly with the claims made.
