After carful planning a research, I determined this would be a good bag to pack for my trip to OBX from Miami. I wanted to take my 8' longboard, and so I purchased this bag to travel with it. I called and the airline assured me that the limit for flying is 120". This bag is 98". I got to the airport to check in and they took the bag. I even asked if it was ok and would make it. I was told yes.Once THROUGH SECURITY I received a call on my phone from the woman who checked me in that tis bag was too large and the baggage handlers would not touch it. I was told it would not be flying and that I could either abandon the entire bag at the airport for a week and take that chance or cancel my flight and come get my bag.The bottom line is, the rule is 120" length PLUS hight PLUS width. This bag, being a four board bag is waaaaay over that dimension. Dont get stuck like I did, it's not wort it. If you still really want this bag, message me. I will sell you mine Cheep. Its worthless to me if the airline wont carry it.

We had the older version (from over 10 years ago) and it was on its last legs. We upgraded to this one and it’s so sturdy and huge on the inside ! We were able to fit 4 surfboards including an 8 ft. Including my sons mosasaurus which is about 2 ft and big. There’s pockets for everything including fins. We fit all of our sons beach toys/4 pairs of booties / and a ton of other gear we needed. I love how the bag has imprinted a big fragile sign. However I cannot express how safe our boards felt with all the cushioning
