High quality piece thats heavy, nicely plated and fits well. So what's the problem? When in OFF position, the handle end points down as it should. Once turned ON, the entire handle is in a horizontal position virtually working like a motorcycle throttle does. Not effective for making temp adjustment and rendering itdifficult and quite possibly dangerous. Quite a shame, tbh. It really is built well. But given it's poorly thought out ergonomics, I would suggest foregoing the purchase. Stick with the old crystal ball. As dated as it is, it still works as intended. Something this thing simply can't claim to accomplish.

Heavy-ish weight handle (unlike what I'd purchased and had to return at a big box store in my initial attempt to update the faucet), so I'm thrilled with the upgrade from the cringey 90s crystal ball. Inexpensive, and easy update (you just need a Phillips Head screwdriver, since the hex key is included). Definitely recommend!Note: this has an adapter for rounded valve stems too, if that's what's on your faucet, but no adapter needed for the challenging to find "diamond" shape valve stem.

Works ok. Difficult to change water temp in the shower because you have to twist the handle.
