Repair your leaky toilet with the Danco spud gasket. The spud gasket fits inside the toilet on the base where the tank drains into the toilet bowl, forming a seal to hold the water in the tank. After buying a Fluidmaster all in one repair kit for my leaky toilet I read the instructions only to find out that I have one of the two weird toilet brands (Gerber and Kohler) with a strange sized gasket. The manual said that Gerber has extra thick gaskets so I searched amazon for "extra thick Gerber tank to bowl gaskets" and this popped up. Seeming as it said it was for Gerber, didn't specify model numbers that its compatible with, and looked identical to all the other listing from the one image any of them give us I concluded that Gerber must use one standard size extra thick Gasket for all of its toilets and that this is that. I was wrong.This gasket is roughly the same dimensions as the universal gasket that came with the Fluidmaster kit, the rubber also looks to be lower quality so that sucks. After looking into it Gerber has many different gasket sizes and many of them are hard to find. Look up your tank model and buy an official part or a part that claims to be equivalent to the official part, enjoy spending way more than you should for a piece of rubber that goes in-between the porcelain of these garbage toilets.Anyway I ended up buying the Gerber 99-591 on amazon to replace the 99-582/99-537 that my toilet was supposed to have, its absolutely the wrong part but I couldn't find the right one and its dimensions were pretty close. So far my toilet seems to not be leaking. This item says Gerber and it may just fit some of the newer toilets. It did not however seal the gap between the tank and the bowl on a Gerber Toilet (A11) made in 1994. It really does boil down to reviews such as this to help guide folks on selecting the correct repair part. In fact this gasket is smaller than the "oversized" gasket that I picked up at Home Depot, which by the way did not work either. What did work was Gerber gasket 99-591 (green in color and expensive).

Trust the other review's!! This gasket is NOT any thicker than the others!! Looks like another case of Amazon combining reviews with other products the seller sells. Looks like I’ll have to do this the right way! Go to a plumbing store!

It does not work on Gerber tank to bowl applications. It does say clearly in the directions that it will fit but it does not fit it’s too thin

This tank to bowl gasket even though it says belongs to a gerber toilet tank did not even come close to fitting on the tank. Very disapointed
