I got these for my friends minnow trap. He had been losing tons of bait because he was using rope to close the trap. Once I showed him how to clip on the hook and secure the cage his mind was blown. I mean I don't know what he did before the rope but these are perfect one to use and a backkup

Does the job. Hopefully these won't corrode and ultimately fail over time like the originals that came with the trap.

Works as it should but is starting to rust a little. My long-lost original clip was galvanized, but this clip seems to be plated. Anyway, I doubt that it will rust away before my minnow trap does - but if it does, I have another because the pack had 2 of them.
