This was a perfect fit my 2020 explorer st when the factory part failed at 70k miles. This worked great until today. Little less then 8k miles and it has failed again. Won’t be buying this one. It’s a complicated part to change out so don’t try and save money buying this cheap one because you will regret it.

You have the headache of removing the bottom part to fit it in which is a pain. Had to buy more tubing to get it to fit. It functions but had I known Id of had to do alot that Id of thought twice.

You still must use Forscan to clear the error message after replacing this part. The software is free after making a free account on the ford forum. You will still need a laptop and a ELM scanner to interface with the truck. Part is working and no longer giving an error code on the system. I would recommend to anyone doing their own repairs.

I bought this because the price was right after I had the code from Autozone. I installed it, but the light was still on, cleared the code twice and it came back on. I contacted the company, and they said that it could be several other things, not this part. I watched a lot of YouTube videos, and went to O'Reilly's and had them check the code in case they had a better diagnostic tool, same reading. YouTube videos from guys with better I tools showed it could be numerous things, like wires, pressure sensors, hoses, and more. I tested the OEM part and it seems good. The truck runs fine, gas mileage is good, so I assume it is something else.

Factory purge valve started to leak and cause rough start at 195,000 miles. This cheap replacement worked the first time I filled up but soon started throwing a check engine light. Ended up just buying the correct ford oem valve for $90 with 5 year warranty. This company will not warranty, replace, or refund me for wasting my time with their product. Wasted my time and money.
