How to Use
- Lubricate the cutting wheel before use;
- Wrap chain around the pipe and hook the chain onto the jaws;
- Close the jaws until pipe cutter wheels are tightened on the pipe;
- Rotate chain around pipe by hand until the pipeline is cut.

I used this tailpipe cutter on my Ford Expedition to remove the muffler and cut a patch pipe for fitting adjustments, and it worked impressively well on aluminized steel. The chain wraps around the pipe easily, and the cutting wheels provide a smooth, clean cut without leaving rough edges. The cutter feels durable and hasn’t dulled even after handling the steel exhaust pipe.The tool is straightforward to use—just wrap, tighten, and rotate the chain around the pipe. It’s a convenient option if you’re doing repairs on standard exhaust materials, though its NOT be suited for tougher materials like stainless or titanium as it says in the listing. Overall, it’s a solid tool for exhaust work and holds up well for typical jobs.

Blades dulled and then started to chip away after just 10 min. of cutting exhaust pipe. Ened up using hack saw to finish job. Do not buy
