Very easy to install and worked first time. I like the foam around the connectors to stop any rattling though that made the unit a little bigger and made getting the vehicle's plastic trim reinstalled a little fiddly. The standard power outlet is a USB C female port. This outlet comes with a foam sticker to stick the adapter to your windshield There's a bunch of (very short) adapter cables included - each under a foot in length - for USB C, Mini USB, Micro USB. I just used the USB C to USB C and plugged it into my dash cam.

Bought this to hook up to a 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross that does NOT have a auto-dimming mirror. It appears to hook into the front windshield sensor so it may be dependent on having the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package.Installation was simple, the plugs fit like OEM on both sides. The camera immediately worked from there

Check YouTube for instructions on how to remove the coverings to expose the power connector. Could be tricky.

Bought this adapter for use with a Red Tiger Dash Camera. It works great is the simple summary. Know in advance that there are no instructions for how to install it. Had to look at YouTube and figure out how to remove the plastic cosmetic covers in the mirror of the car. That was the hard and scary part. Felt like I would break the clips trying to remove them. The provided pry bar is only needed for the small cover. The larger covered slides down towards the dash when you are trying to remove it. Plugging in the cable is easy. There is only one way to install it. Once it is plugged in, plug in the camera and test it before putting the covers back together. The kit itself comes with three different USB-C cables for the camera. For the money, it’s worth it.

This is for my wife's 2024 NX350. Dash cam I'm swapping between my car and my dash cam is not best for this Lexus because it has 2 power sources (Rover R3) due to rear camera installed in my car. So, once I get a new dash cam for this vehicle, I'll updateThis adapter is very compact and clean looking. That makes for and super easy install. I say super easy install but be prepared. It enables a clean install so the wire between the power source and the dash cam is nearly invisible.Here is the being prepared part. Take a few minutes before you pull off the sticky tape backs to make sure the orientation of the adapter is optimized for better dash cam alignment.This is one of those take your time, as the install will take just a few minutes, but if you miss, it might bug you that the dash cam alignment might not look as professional as you planned for.Hope this was helpful!
