I needed to make a DB9-to-DB25 adapter cable with a non-standard pinout. This DB9 connector with pigtail and ferruled ends made this assembly a breeze. Would be nice if the bag included the color code pinout of the cable. But it was easy enough to find in the original Amazon listing.

One-star rating is for the fact that I expected to find a solderless breakout board when opening the metal shell, but this product doesn't actually have one. What I received is shown along with the photo from the order page that shows the (missing) breakout board.Otherwise, the cable works and would have received five-stars if it wasn't for the missing breakout board.

The item received is not a Sholderless Breakout Connector, I will need to modify the connector for my needs. Thus, the reason I ordered a breakout connector. Waist of time.....
