This is a great alternative to the questionable relay boards one gets to switch mains AC with a microcontroller. You'll still need to step the voltage (and current) from the GPIO pin up from 3V3 to 12V, and to provide some current. DIN rail mounting makes it easy to make the whole setup look clean.

It is a good relay. Has all markings needed for wiring and has a small protective cover on the side to protect some of the rating information.

This DC Contactor 2P 12VDC 25A 250V 2NO with DIN rail mount by Good BNTai is a good relay for remote start / stop of equipment. This relay has a little window to insert a label to id the circuit. There is an indicator window to display the status.

I'm using this to start the backup pump in my wellhouse remotely when the power goes out. It's a long distance so I don't want to directly power the pump, just enough to close the contacts. This fits the DIN rail in the box that I have in the wellhouse fine, it holds securely and has a clip to release if you need. It's pretty easy to wire up, I just connected 12v with a switch and a small LED light (so I know it's on) to the control side, the power to 1 and 3 on the top, and then the pump to 2 and 4 on the bottom. Flip the switch, the pump is activated. I haven't run it over time, but for a few simple tests it's working fine for me. The DIN rail gear is new to me but I'm liking the pieces that I've worked with.
