Exactly what was needed to replace bad DC charging port on HP 15z-DB0000. Youtube videos available on how to replace; takes only 10 - 15 minutes to do.

I got this to replace the one on my college daughter's HP-15-AC113CL. Due to some "mishap' the power cord had been shoved in too hard and damaged the jack. This was a near perfect replacement. I say NEAR perfect because for some reason there were tiny little tabs/protrusions on each side of the end of the connector that slides into the board connector keeping it from sliding in. Three swipes on each one with a nail file solved the problem. It slid right in and the laptop can run on A/C and charge up again. The total job took maybe 15-20mins with most of the time spent removing the numerous little screws on the bottom of the laptop in order to remove it. While you're in there be sure to replace your old bios battery. It keeps the bios breathing (Date/time etc..) if you ever remove A/C power and the laptop battery at the same time. It is probably dead and will be in plain sight. In my case it was a 2032 Lithium.
