Mounted up to my CM4 and I/O board and worked great!

I purchased this saying it was for both CM5 and CM4. However the fins are very tiny and will likely overheat a CM5. The other thing is it only includes 2 silicon pads, you need 3 silicon pads for a CM5. One for the CPU, one for the RAM and one for the PCI express chip.

The heatsink fins are in the way when tryinng to tighten the nut. There is no space for even a pointed micro tweezer.

First and foremost, the heat sink works very well. You’re just going to struggle to get it to do so with the mounting hardware that comes with it; it’s either too high or not high enough to use with the included thermal pads. I ended up using thermal paste and the screws and nuts without the standoffs. It was a delicate balance but it worked.

Not a good fit for the seeed clusterboard.. the rubber grommets prevent the CM4 from connecting to the mother board.

Using these for a drone-SDR project. Came with all the hardware needed to mount on TOFU carrier board (or any with screw holes that line up). CPU temps dropped 30º after installing. Low profile and able to install cable for WiFi.

It's a nice cost effective, minimalist heat-sink for the CM4, not much more to say.

This heatsink for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 is perfect for using the Waveshare metal boxes or perhaps even underneath a hat module. It provides enough cooling without a fan to run all four cores continuously. There is just enough space above it to fit the fan in the Waveshare boxes, but you may have to cut off the ends of the fan screws provided with the Waveshare box. With an added fan I had no problem cooling the CPU in the enclosed box and a slower 7000 RPM fan speed that cut down on the noise. Unless you have room for a taller heatsink, this is the one to get.I have one complaint about the included hardware. The nuts that go above the heatsink slip easily when trying to tighten them. That is especially true of the one next to the WiFi cutout. Four lock washers to put between the nuts and the heatsink would have made all the difference in getting the nuts tightened and avoiding some bruised fingers.
