Fits well and is doing a better job transferring heat than the previous one. I'm not sure if the copper stickers do anything but they are real copper so it's probably better. My only issue is the lack of screw's, it just snaps together and I'm worried long term.

A decent performing heatsink. This only performed about 1-1.5C better than the stock one I had on from my MSI Mobo. It was easy to put together and fit just right. Good value. I do like that this had more contact than the stock heatsink I used.

Works great, one of my sensors on my SSD was hitting 70°C under a work load with the heat sink that came with the computer. Now under the same load I haven't gone past 50°C. It even works better then the other one i tried, so I just ordered 2 more for my 2nd PC! Highly recommend it.

This is a well built and effective passive heatsink. But before you hit the buy button, there are two questions you ought to ask before purchase.1) Will it fit? While it’s not huge, it does take up space and may physically conflict with other components.2) How is the airflow in the place where I’ll install it?It’s all well and good for a heatsink to soak up heat from the device it’s meant to cool, but if it can’t dissipate that heat quickly enough to the surrounding air, you’re going to have overheating problems regardless of how good the heatsink is. My experience with NVMe devices is the higher the PCIe Gen# is, the hotter they run. Providing good airflow over the heatsink is going to be critical for Gen4 and above drives.[Disclosure: I received this product for “free”—in quotes because the IRS considers the item’s retail value as taxable income for federal income tax purposes.

This M.2 cooler comes with the everything you will need for installation into a desktop or PS5, and fit perfectly in the latter. Thermal pads, foil, screws...the lot is all here. The design of the heatsink was a bit...snug, so getting it on and off was a small pain, but it is also a task I do not expect one would do very often. Most importantly, this model rates *very* highly in heat reduction, based on the experiments that have been run on the subject.I researched a great many of these before deciding on this one, and the German design and copper heat pipe sold Me.I REALLY do not think you can do much better at fifteen bucks.

This appears to be a well made product, solid and good machining, at least from a visual inspection. My one complaint is that the SSD is not secured to the heatsink, other than by the friction fit of the SSD to the mounting cage. The consequence is this: in ensuring that the SSD sits firmly into the socket, the whole heatsink slides with the silicone pads, etc. So, in my case, I ended up having to remove it from the motherboard and realigning the whole of it.There is another curious thing about this specific part... I did go on the Graugear website to check something, and it is not listed on the webpage and the search comes up with nothing... Curious...

This is a very good passive heatsink. I’ve tested several, and tend to leave the best ones on my hottest SSDs. Therefore, when I installed this one, I was comparing it to my old one (which was very good), NOT to a bare SSD. And what I saw was basically no difference in idle/low usage temps. My WD Black SSD is right around 38C. However, when under load, this one might take a bit longer to heat up, owing to it’s larger thermal reservoir (the big heat pipe), keeping you a bit cooler for longer.I think you mileage may vary, because it depends on a LOT of factors, like how much airflow you have blowing across it, what SSD you have, how much you’re reading or writing, etc. The two things I’ll say are 1) I’m not sure what the graphene sheet does. It is still sandwiched between the silicone pad and the aluminum block. . . so at best it just speeds up the transfer through it’s own thin layer, but the speed of heat transfer through the silicone layer and the aluminum block (and copper pipe) are still the same as always. It’s like adding a little 20 foot long zone on the highway where you can go 1000 miles per hour – will that small zone of high speed transfer really help overall? I didn’t notice anything. 2) The little spring on the heat pipe isn’t soldered on, and slides around with poor contact. I’m not sure that it really adds much cooling capability, but maybe? For reference, I’ve found that mounting any SSD on a PCIe adapter card (rather than directly on the motherboard) is the best “heatsink” of all – and mine stay around 25C all the time (about 15-20C cooler) because they get superior air flow all around them when mounted up high off the motherboard. If you really need some cooling (and you have the room) then think about trying that. The geometry and airflow matters a lot, but this heatsink is just as good as the best others I’ve tested in similar geometries (on the mobo) in the same system. 5 stars.

This arrived in a hard plastic container in a very descriptive box. It was packaged in a nice little kit form that includes the heat sink and bottom plate, the thermal pads, screws, a small Phillips screwdriver, and a small manual.I know this heat sink will cool better than others due to the fairly large copper heat pipe. I do not like M.2 heat sinks with active cooling (small fans) as they create a lot of noise. Heat pipe coolers like these make no noise and provide additional cooling beyond what a regular M.2 heat sink can do.My major worry with heat sinks like this are will they fit. This one managed to put the heat pipe into a pretty standard sized heat sink, particularly height wise. It is not overly tall which is good, as I might have issues if it was. In checking on one of my motherboards (Asrock Fatality X370 Gaming X) I had no clearance issues and it fit fine in the top or bottom M.2 slot. The heat pipe part that sticks out is slightly curved upwards, so it clears transistors and batteries on your motherboard. The heat pipe does not stick out too far to hit anything, at least on the motherboard I tested it on.I will be using it in the bottom M.2 slot of a different motherboard however, the MSI Pro B650-P Wifi, and there is absolutely nothing that would get in the way of its use there. It will be used to cool a Western Digital Black SN850X 2TB M.2 drive, and should work just great for that purpose.I have no cons. This is a really nice M.2 heat sink with a nice copper heat pipe that will enhance cooling. It is not overly large so it will be able to comfortably fit and be used in most motherboards that support M.2 drives.
