The way the rails sit on the truck bed's plastic caps and clamp to the stake pockets needs to be done differently. The rails feet deform the bed's caps. The bolts for the stake pockets continuously come loose... over short travel distances. The unit and truck must be conforming to each other because the bolts are coming loose less. My brother's Dee Zee setup for the Chevy truck is much better.

The rails look good once mounted correctly, however, the mounting bracket is horrible. They have those crush nuts in them that strip out before the retaining nut starts to crush and hold in place. I had to take two of them to a machine shop and get nuts welded in place. The other two, I was able to crush in a bench vise and make work. A Stupid design award should go to DEE ZEE for that. There were teeth on the crush nut, but no teeth in the bracket to hold them still. I wish I had bought different brand, I hope everyone reads this. If you aren't willing to go the extra mile to install these, don't purchase.

Look at the pictures- doesn’t it look like there are two tie downs that are included? None come with the rails……

I love the rails. I wish the t slot was made to fit normal t bolts/nuts but not a big deal, just annoying to find hardware that works on these. Installed using manufacturer instructions and it’s too loose. wobbly/wiggly bad on the back end. It doesn’t feel solid and I can move it 1/2” in either direction. I have had to modify how it attaches to the truck bed to make it secure.

These rails deserve more hype. They are easy to install, I love how they look on the truck and they add so much functionality!The worst part of the install was that on my 2019 Ram the factory bed caps have permanent covers over the front stake pockets. Those are pre-marked and very easy to cut out so it wasn’t too bad. The hardware included fit my truck perfectly and did not require me to modify my rear stake pockets (if you have a ram with factory bed caps, you’ll see what I mean).The fact that an M8 bolt head fits perfectly in the “T slot” means that your options for attaching accessories, mounts, and tie-downs is limited only by your own imagination and creativity.This is a great product, I highly recommend, only wish I’d bought them sooner!
