Bought in November 2024. Sighted and was working great, shot about 500 rounds through with my shield 9 plus, went to the range this morning early February fully charged but the green laser was weak and barely visible. Could be a bad diode or misaligned crystal, was willing to work with Defentac but I don't use social media and there is no contact email, otherwise the product would have 5 stars. Unfortunately Ill have to either fix it myself or buy a different product. Hopefully your experience was better than mine.

I wasn’t sure if should order this Lazer I was seeing some reviews saying it wasn’t to bright and not worth the money some other reviews said it was really bright and worth the money I went ahead and ordered it I just got it today and no lie this one of the best lazers I’ve got for this price if you want to make your gun look cool, have some fun and practice your aim this is perfect really worth the money y’all comes wit charger and everything doesn’t move around or fall off holds on tight both very bright and reaches far

The most important part of this review is that I have not (yet) fired the weapon with this light attached. I was waiting to write until I had but I wont be to the range for a bit, so here we are.I appreciate the flexibility of the picatinny slot. My previous light didnt have a post for the slot and rendered the lifht useless. This one is adjustable for almost any rail. Fits snug to the trigger guard on my Taurus G2C.The light itself is a tad bit wider than the G2C, so in my holster the light is going to rub more than the gun itself. Still fits the holster with no problems, needed to adjust just slightly.Im a little disappointed in the brightness of the light. It spreads a wide ultra white glow, rather than a beam. While I do think it will help illuminate in a dark room I cant but help think that its underpowered by today’s luminescent standards.The lazer is excellent. Sharp and under 3moa, easy to adjust. Obsviously lazers are for low light situations so the visibility is fine.The rechargeable features on this I love. No you cant swap batteries, yes you gotta plug it in. Im just tired of burning batteries when I accidentally hit the on switch putting it in the holster or in storage. The rubber on off buttons are great for texture and feel, and they are harder to accidentally turn on without compromising the ease of on off when you mean to.I have a few other handguns I would consider putting this on, but for now Im going to look for a similar set up with a brighter “beam” of light.

Great light, fairly good distance at night. Can illuminate 20-30yrds with the flashlight and has a strobe feature if you double press the on button. Green laser needed only a small calibration but came with the tools so it made things easy. Overall I like this setup better than trying to keep the picatiny SHR9 rail on with a secondary light/laser attachment. Took 2hrs to charge fully, but there was no indicator as to how much charge was on it upon arrival, not a big deal. Looks good and adjusts easily, accurately fits tight and securely. Overall 4.5/5, only because I would have liked 500+ lumes, otherwise perfect.

Very good and came already charged. Love the fact that it’s wireless charging super easy and super durable. Visibility is great on it! Easy to adjust and takes 2min to put on

Since I had never had either a light or laser on a pistol before, I went with this Light / Laser Combo because I didn't want to spend a whole lot on something I had never tried before. The unit was nicely packaged and shipped very fast. I was immediately impressed by the fit and finish, and precise snap into place mounting on my Shield Plus 9mm. I sighted in the laser in my living room and then went to the range. I put 400 rounds through the pistol and the laser didn't move at all. Now that I have experienced this "Economy" light / laser combo, I can't see why anyone would want to spend 2,3, or 4 times as much on a "top tier" light / laser combo. Go ahead and pick up one of these little gems -- you won't be sorry :) Update:Although the DF52 fits my M&P Shield Plus 9mm pistol -- perfectly, I have not been able to find a Kydex IWB holster that will accommodate the DF52. There are lots of holsters out there, made for numerous pistols equipped with a StreamLight TLR6 light / laser combo but not a single one will accept a Defentac DL52. If anyone out there knows where I can get the holster I am looking for please let me know. If I find one I will update this post again.Update #2 -- Good NewsI spent a week online looking for a kydex IWB holster that would accommodate my S&W M&P Shield Plus 9mm pistol and the Defentac DF53 Combo flashlight / green laser. No Luck. Lots of offerings that accept the Streamlight TLF6 but not one for the DF53. Keep reading ... I'll tell you how to fix that.I came back to Amazon and purchased the following IWB Kydex Holster by BKfense for $19.99IWB Holster Right Hand Fits S&W M&P Shield/Shield Plus M2.0 9mm/.40 3.1" w/TLR-6/HL Pistol Holster & Universal 9/.40 Double/Single Stack Mag Carrier (Stream Light TLR-6/HL Must be Attached)I spent about half an hour carefully, repeatedly, heating up and reworking the BKfense Kydex holster and was able to get the holster to accept my M&P Shield Plus with the Defentac DF52 Combo. You need a heat gun and some patience, but this solution will let you use the Defentac combo light / laser (VERY ECONOMICAL AND WELL MADE UNIT) with a S&W M&P Shield Plus 9mm pistol. I purchased both the holster and the Defentac light / laser with my own money and have not been paid for this review. I just like saving money and creatively solving issues that everyone tells me are unsolvable. Enjoy!
