It is slightly larger and much longer than my original and other aftermarket brands. It does filter more particles before clogging. I was amazed how much trash was in my gas tank. This filter looked completely clogged up however it was still working 2 months longer than the previous brand which only lasted one month. It trapped an unbelievable amount of stuff. I ended up changing my gas tank because there were handfuls of debris in my tank. I installed another one of these new filters on my fuel pump. The mount is slightly different than the original filter but the principal is the same.
