Initially purchased a Chinese sensor. It didn't get rid of the P0339 trouble code. Replaced it with this OEM sensor... no code!

Car had code and would not rev over 3500. Previous over tried after market sensor from local store and it would not work. After reading on Honda tech forums a reading people had trouble with after market sensor i bought the OEM Denso and it fired right up! I know i have bought after market parts for cars for years but this one is a must to be OEM Denso. I hate electrical problems on cars.

Do not try to use a cheap Chinese made sensor on your Honda. Too hard to replace it! This is a well made, high quality part! Not dirt cheap, but still a nice savings, over OEM, and works fine!

For the price it’s definitely worth getting this o/e sensor .

I installed one of these in a 2002 Honda Civic in September 2021 when my car was giving error codes 1361 and 1362. My car overheated 2 weeks ago (February 2022), probably due to a leaking head gasket, and threw the same codes. I replaced the sensor with a Duralast from a popular automotive store (not sure if I can mention the name), and immediately afterwards the car would randomly jerk (misfire?), mostly while accelerating, and threw code P0336. So, I ordered one of these again from Amazon and installed it. Car ran fine after install; no error codes. I gave 5 stars because the cost of these parts is a lot cheaper than 6 car payments (especially in this insane auto market). I don't know if the overheating caused the original sensor to fail. [I say the car overheated, but in reality the temperature got to ~75% of maximum readout.]

So far so good. Honda oem sensor is densor but you save a lot when you buy directly from Densor.
