There are no instructions, there is no gasket for meeting the tub (so this doesn't save you a trip to store) and perhaps 'im doing it wrong (i wouldn't know, there are no instructions) but the extending piece to tie into the existing drain is not a standard dimension and i have no idea how I'm suppose to tie it into things. It's not 1.5" and its so skinny it does not fit the inside dimension of 1.5" either so i can just wiggling it around in a 1.5" piece of PVC.Basically, i bought a bag of trash and will not go to the store to buy something that actually works.

I replaced the deep sink trap & tail piece while installing this overflow drain. It took me longer than expected I.e., I’m not a plumber. I decided this was needed after I left the water running a few times, got distracted, it overflowed & I cleaned it up.

I wasn't sure what the little gold wire piece was for & there are no instructions. But we ended up buying a small flexible pvc piece for the drain connection, because we're on a concrete slab, and the drain was slightly off from our new Delta everedge tub.

This is another tub overflow are used on a bathroom renovation I did. It’s a great overflow work perfect sturdy, good materials the pop-up was very strong.

I ordered this to go with the designs house lift and turn drain and overflow covers. Even extended to its max it was to short to work on my standard tub shower. It must be for the older shallow tubs?

Great Product, however it is difficult to get the joint tight and leak proof under the tub. I noticed the rubber gasket has ribs on one side. I made sure the ribbs were against the tub, I also added a little Teflon tape to the threads for the stopper holder that screws into the bottom piece. Filled the tub twice and no leaks.

I used to work as a professional plumber, these PVC rough in kits are all pretty similar. Some are made from a cheaper, thinner material, some are brass, some are heavy duty PVC but they all work the same. If installed correctly they are fine. Ive purchased 2 of these and they both work without issues. Plus about half the price of HomeDepot/Lowes/Menards etc
