Works great for what I needed it for. It is quite small though. After reading complaints here about how tiny it was I looked at the drawings and dimensions and thought it would be fine. When it got here I was still shocked by the size but it fit perfectly where I needed it.

I was warned by the first review and from an earlier purchase of mine where I didn't notice how small the item was -- so I looked on the manufacturer's site which gave good dimensions and intended load (350 lbs), and a photo that included the new part and sufficed as assembly instructions. The product seems pretty good, though the price is pretty "good" too.

There is no description on the dimension of this product as well as the strength rating (1000 or 2000 lbs). The picture created a false impression of a much larger product. The actual size is about 3 inches. Bad description !!!!

The product seems to be a good product, but all products on amazon need better descriptions. I thought the clamp was going to be a little bit bigger. Include specifications in the descriptions. I like the convenience of the the site, but I have a hard time figuring out just exactly what I am getting. Write down the demensions.
