They work "okay" in niche scenarios.. My picture shows what I have done to make these more functional by increasing the length of the bolt/stud.My main issue was I had to remove the pre-assembled bolts/studs and install a longer bolt (stealing the foot pad off of the original bolts) so that I was actually able to use them for anything in my application.Essentially they are only able to clamp anything on the same exact plane as themselves, if they are higher than or lower than whatever it is you are trying to clamp, the stud is not adjustable enough to accommodate differences in height.

I have been using them on jigs. They are kind of small so pay attention to the dimensions.

I plan on using these clamps to make some custom claps for a doghole woodworking table to hold the wood down while I work on it. These clamps are every bit as good as some that are more expensive here on Amazon. I may consider buying more since it is such a great deal. These are great for making jigs for woodworking.

I ordered a 10-pack of 201B quick release toggle clamps. I happened to have one from years ago from some place and was hoping these would be similar. The price of $1.80 each had me wondering. Well, they are identical in appearance and strength to the one I have. They move smoothly and snap into a lock position, like they should. I installed them onto a board for clamping 5 sets of two smaller pieces of wood being glued together. They work exactly as expected, are a great price, and as I said in the title, are exactly what I wanted.
