P5II-An external, battery-powered mobile display, a field monitor shows you the exact same picture that is being recorded to camera.

Here are a 3 key reasons to get one: Ranging 5″-9″ in screen size, much larger than standard camera displays, a field monitor is excellent for viewing all details clearly within a frame.

What does P5II do?

In addition to providing a larger display, P5II provide additional tools to assist camera operators. Such tools include framing guides, focus peaking, zebra stripes, waveform monitors (oftentimes as an "RGB parade"), vectorscopes and false color to highlight areas of the image critical to the operator.

Why do you need P5II camera monitor ?

Suppose it is difficult for the user to identify the focus point through the camera's viewfinder. The user can either monitor the focus with "focus peaking" or "zoom in" on the field monitor. The zoom-in function allows users to quickly examine the image's details and ensure that the subject is entirely focused.

For resolution, aim for HD to Full HD at a minimum, ideally with the ability to focus-check. A high-brightness external camera screen that is labeled as “daylight-viewable” are better for outdoor work. Consider purchasing a hood for your external monitor if you work outside often

Build quality is meh, but image brightness and Luts are handy! The mounting points just have a 1/4-20 with a locating pin to help stabilize these, the mount arms that come with it are, junk and broke easily.
