Working great, followed the first demo i could find with the built in generic Arduino code for steppers on my ESP32. Pretty basic stepper motor driver setup to explore the topic. Not bad to setup with 4 pins off the MCU to control the driver array. You may want to budget some more pins for limit switches to provide start or stop endpoints as its happy to step away, but it doesn't know where its absolute position is in the world. Also, a dedicated power supply for the driver board is recommended, but the build in 5V rail on the ESP was enough to step it for testing.

While the DEVMO 28BYJ-48 Geared Stepper Motor and ULN2003 Driver Test Module Board performs as expected, there are significant design flaws. The incorrect photos led to disappointment, as the pins were located on the topside, rendering it incompatible as a hat and unable to plug directly into a breadboard. Although I managed to resolve the issue by resoldering, it was a laborious task for a relatively inexpensive part. Despite these drawbacks, once properly configured, it functions as intended.

Do not buy if you are looking to get the version with breadboard Pins

The image shows that the pins are installed on the bottom of the board (opposite side from the components and motor plug). The item I was sent has everything installed on the top of the board. My plan was to use this with a solderable breadboard, which will not work with this configuration.
