This is my third one. The first on was before they went brushless and the jeannie came out of the motor. The second I still have but the chuck is starting to go out. Replacement seemed easier than repair. Amazon had a sale, so here I am.Tough tools. I used them installing telecommunications in military facilities for years. Battery lasts a long time and recharge was pretty quick. It has the power needed to go through concrete and able to drill small holes in soft materials when needed.

Does the job it's meant to do. It will drain a small battery fast but that's to be expected.

Came across this on Amazon as a refurb. You'd never know it, couldnt believe the price, honestly I think it was never used!I've taken a chance on a couple of other refurb items on Amazon, but never tools, especially power tools. But this purchase gives me confidence to do it again.

I needed this to raise a house trailer jack. It is a monster. Far more power than my old de walt driver. I really have to be careful or it will break my wrist, my fault not the driver. If power and rugged is what you need this is the one. It is heavy and big.

I've usually had good luck with refurbished products so decided to give this drill a go and save some dough. It arrived looking brand new in box with everything included. We've been using it for over a month now during our construction and have had no problems. My husband said it's "bad-@@". All our other tools are DeWalt so we already had batteries.

I was a little leary about buying a refurbished (renewed) drill, but for the price, I took a chance. After several days of use, I couldn't be happier. I had some concerns about people saying the chuck's wouldn't release the bits, or wouldn't tighten properly. I have 3 other Dewalt drills and this one does have a different style chuck, but after reading I found out your only supposed to insert the bit about 3/4 inch, and then turn the chuck till you feel a click. Over tightening or inserting the bit too far WILL cause it to make release very hard. Once you understand how it works, I like it more than my older drills chuck. I've driven dozens of different sized wood screws and drilled both metal and wood on a project, and it performs flawlessly.
