It offers a cushion grip housing cover, with an ergonomic speed control dial and a touch control trigger. This sander has a keyless quick disc release for ease of changes. It operates with a 1/4" air inlet and runs at 11,000 RPM. It is backed by Dewalt.

It works as it should, only down side was it was really dirty in the box it's was sent in (like sand). Fortunately the air port had a cap on it, so the sand/dirt didn't get inside of the tool.

When they worked, they worked well. We bought two of these and both of them broke in the same place, the steel collar that holds the backing pad on. I don't recommend this DeWalt DA sander. For a few bucks more, go with Ingersoll, much more durable.

Ive had several i.r. snap on , too many to list but this one puts them all to shame. Extremely efficient with air usage. Powerful. When and if i ever need another one im getting another one of these.

This is a really good sander. The adhesive discs peel off easily and it gets outstanding revs. My only complaint is that the price is not competitive as you can get the exact same Dewalt sander at Home Depot or slight less $$.
