It has been through summer storms and negative freezing weather, runs 24 / 7 and hasn't gave up yet, so I'm assuming it's good for the long haul

I have a lot of LED strip lights out on my porch and up and down my stairs. While LEDs don't cost much electricity I have always ended up just leaving them on all day so that I don't forget to turn them on at night. I have tried some dusk to dawn switches and they didn't work out. I saw this transformer with all it's abilities and ordered it. There are just some things that when you pick them up you know you have a quality product in your hands. This transformer is very heavy duty and has no problem running the 12 strips of lights I've got wired into it. The power is stable and I've got no drops in function in any of the strips. It was very easy to install, easy to wire up to and super easy to program. Now my lights can be off during the day and come on automatically at night to keep things safe and for door dash to find me easily. With the holidays coming up I'll be able to use it to run my light displays. This is a well built and very stable transformer. It can be used in several ways to suit what type of lighting you're using. It is well worth the asking price. This one gets a big yes from me.

This is a straightforward transformer with lots of power. The dual zone feature is what drew me to it because I’m about to expand my existing light scape and also needed the wattage.It only took about ten minutes to install the mounting screws, set the time and select my run mode. The photocell lead is at least 5” long so if you intend to use it there is plenty to work with. The ability to run dusk-to-dawn on one zone and timed lights of the second is really the best of both worlds.The transformer has that solid feel of a device that’s built right and to last. I’m very happy with it and would recommend it.

This DV low voltage transformer is lite weight compared to other transformers we have had. East to set up and powered two separate lines of low voltage landscape bulbs. It is significantly lower priced than other 300 wat dual line transformers. We would recommend it for your lawn lighting.

I am very happy with this DEWENWILS 12V DC output lighting supply. This device supports any timing method in which you would want to use your landscape lights. I went through the button interface, and its straightforward to set zone 1 or zone 2 to the desired operation. The device itself feels like it is well made. The button action is crisp and the finish on all the parts is nice. I did try to flip up the clear plastic terminal cover (will break if you try too hard). The terminal cover is actually press fit on, so you lift it straight off to connect the cables.I also thought the instructions were useful and mostly clear. The instruction did mention a 12V tap and 14V tap and had charts for wire length for both voltages. This is confusing as I think this unit only outputs 12V (there are two V+ terms for each zone, so four V+ terminals in total). I thought the device might output a lower and higher voltage, but when I measured all four V+ outputs, they were all at 15.38V DC with no load. Also, the product comparison chart indicates the DEWENWILS at 12V only, and some of the competing units at both 12V/14V. I am going to install the transformer inside a closet and run the 12V wires outside through the wall. This transformer also uses a remote dusk to dawn light sensor that connects with a wire. This is nice, because I can still use the dusk to dawn feature with the unit located inside my house. I really like the design and quality of this device. Recommended.

Was used for deck lights on one channel and backyard lights on the other. Price was great for what you get compared to other transformers at the time of purchase. If you have a use case for a two channel transformer then the DEWENWILS 300W transformer is a good serviceable option.
