Breathtaking color. I like it! Some special papers can better show its beaty, but it's also nice on common writing paper. I use pen with a brush tip to make calligraphy works.

This is a very good color. Nice dark blue/black with hints of red. Could pull it off in the office and with the hints of differing colors.. Also gives you a nice pop of color that isn't really expected. In typical Diamine fashion, well behaved, not to wet or dry, I wish that the cost per fill was a little lower but unless your like me and write long hand letters this color of ink could work out. On common non-fountain pen friendly paper, has a little more feathering than other Diamine inks but on frountain pen friendly paper.. Oh it's nice. Fairly quick drying, but remember this is NOT a water resistant ink. Overall good stuff, recommend.

This ink is as beautiful as I expected. It is not an ink that changes color depending on how much is laid down, but it does darken with heavier application. It flows quite well with my medium nib but is not so wet that it gets difficult to handle with anything but a fine nib. I have not tried it with anything but medium and fine, but it works nicely with both.

This is a deep blue black ink that performs outstandingly well. It is a wetter ink that flows well and aids in the action of the nib smoothly gliding on the page. Despite it being so well flowing, it behaves really well on standard office paper on which it does not bleed or feather.I have a number of different colors of Diamine ink and I'm yet to find one that doesn't perform well in any pen. I believe Diamine inks are some of the best inks available and the price of these inks is very reasonable considering the outstanding quality.

Like the color, but I was hoping it'd be a tad lighter. I'm still satisfied though. Looks good sloshing around in my Wing s 698 demo.

The color if this ink (Midnight Blue) is great if you are looking for a very intensely saturated dark blue ink. Very beautiful compared to more watery inks sold by the pen manufacturers.But I am dinging this for the bottle design. It's impossible to fill up your pen without getting ink on the sides of the pen, which is really messy. I guess it's my fault for buy such a tiny bottle. I assume the larger Diamine bottles don't have that problem. I have bottles of Waterman and Private Reserve ink and don't have any problems getting ink all over the sides of the pen as I do with this Diamine bottle.

This color is awesome. Was one of my wedding colors, so bought it for me and my groomsmen as well as the officiant - and LAMY Safaris to go along with. Have been using for a few months now. Not too wet, dries on Moleskin paper after a few seconds usually. Smooth enough. Can smear from water/oils on hands.
