This is the 2nd compression kit I’ve ordered and they are both broken already. Don’t waste your money on this one.

It’s an ok kit but the glow plug fitting is made at too long so it need to be shortened . Not a big deal

Guage seemed accurate when compared with another similar. I used to check compression on Yanmar tractor which several models including smaller John Deere series made by Yanmar have the similar design fuel injector’s. Can be used two ways, one is using part # 4 a 1/8” NPT coupler along with a 1/4”NPT M to 1/8” NPT F (not inc.) and screw into the side of the injector. The other is by unscrewing top of injector and screwing in #7 a 12mm x 1.25 F -18mm x1.5 M after cutting off about 1/4” off of bottom of this fitting. I put a 45 degree edge on outward side while I was sanding smooth on a 1” x 30” belt sander. Be extra careful to remove all shaving’s. Then next above I used #6 a 12mm x1.25 M - 7/16” x 20 M with a flat washer to keep from bottoming out along with heavy Teflon tape. Next above I used #15 a 7/16” x 20 M - 7/16” x 20 F which is the 90 degree shaped fitting. To it I attached #5 a 7/16” coupler. This second method uses a larger inside passage hole (about a 1/4”) than the first (less than 1/8”). Either way you will need to remove all the insides of injector and use just the body.The instructions with this kit are partially Chinese oriented but understandable. Would of been nice if the fitting’s were labeled. I did mine with a fine tip permanent marker so I wouldn’t have to get out my thread guage every time I used. Also instead of having 2 (once) and 3 (twice) of the same identical fitting maybe include different sizes for more coverage of vehicles.To remove the injector’s I soaked overnight with penetrating oil around edges then after removing top 2 nuts I wiggled injector sideways with wrench while pulling upwards with pliers.
