As one of the lowest-cost duplex, MICR-enabled check scanners on the market, it brings bank quality and durability within reach of small and medium-sized businesses. That’s why the CX30 has become one of the best-selling remote deposit scanners of all time.

I needed a new check scanner because the old one was old and giving me issues. When I got the new scanner I could not get it to light up. I did all the trouble shooting that I thought to do with different outlets and then just decided to return it thinking I got a lemon. There customer service reached out to me and helped me realize the USB port I was using was the problem. I am up and running and so happy with this company.

This is a nice machine, although it didn’t work for my needs due to it not being compatible with my bank because my bank only uses their own scanners. The customer support was awesome and didn’t take long to get someone on the phone to help. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a scanner to buy if it’s compatible with your system

This check scanner is perfect. It is a single scanner so you feed the checks in individually, but it is pretty fast. I have used the multi check scanners before and I think I actually prefer this. I have been using this for about 3 months probably 2-3 times a week (anywhere from 10-30 checks per batch) without any problems. It's lightweight with minimal noise. It works well with our bank's program. My advice to everyone is check with your bank to see what model they recommend or support.

It works with Bank of America but there are a few problems with the software.First, it only uses port :80 which conflicts with some software and cannot be changed. Also, it's not compatible to Windows 10.Other than those problems, it's been fine.Very convenient device that saves you some trips to the bank.

UPDATE 05/05/2014: This scanner jams about 30% of the time. The jams require removal of the cover, flipping open a back shield, and opening the roller slot. I deposited 14 checks, and it jammed 4 times. Most of the jams are with the smaller, personal checks, but I did have a couple larger ones jam the last couple times I used it, as well. I've gotten into the habit of removing the cover and leaving it off while I'm scanning just to save time on the jams. If you are a company that handles many, many personal checks, I would imaging another scanner might do better for your needs. However, the speed in which this scanner reads these checks still saves me time over my prior scanner, jams inclusive.I had an RDI scanner before, and it took forever for it to process a batch of checks. This baby, other than a couple initial plugs, works flawlessly. It's easy to use and doesn't misread as much as my old one. It seems to be an awful lot of money for what is, in essence, a low-quality scanner, but it does a great job.
