I originally ordered this for the clamp. But while testing, I like that it can measure the hertz when measuring the AC power line. I like that feature as it may come in handy when testing certain equipment issues. The NCV sensor is sensitive - too sensitive for my use cases. The AUTO function performed good enough for basic use.

I very briefly tested the other functions of this meter because I have a better one. I wanted it for the clamp current feature, something I did not have.I tested several loads and compared the measurement with my Amprobe AM-140A which is not high end, but is a respectable meter that costs much more than this one. I'm quite happy with the accuracy of the current clamp measurement. The battery cover screw isn't captive however so be careful not to lose it. The internal build quality is Ok, but consider this thing is 20-some dollars. I wouldn't feel too comfortable using this or any other cheap meter to measure utility power, but no issues at all using the clamp. They also spelled "TRUE RMS" wrong on the LCD which is funny. One star off for that lack of due diligence.
