How many times when you were a kid would you have been so happy to have something like this? Especially me as an only child who was always getting into things and forever exploring, lol. This is an amazing instrument! To date my most interesting thing to view has been my own kidney stone. Gross, I know but incredibly interesting! Super easy to use for both adults and children. Amazing quality.

I needed a microscope for a a couple of specific uses and one of them was inspecting the quality and measurement of a 1.4mm hole in a brass nozzle and this device was exactly what I needed! Not only it provides an amazing imagery quality, it also comes with features as time and date, an SD cards to store pictures, an in-screen ruler that allows changing color to enhance its viewability. The included light makes the job even easier and it is also very easy to make focus. It comes with instructions but it is so intuitive that I didn't need them.

This thing is actually really cool. Comes with a 1080p camera and a bright, five inch display screen so you can REALLY see what you're looking at. It is capable of magnifying items up to 1000 times, as well as allowing photos and video recordings of your discovery. It's a lot more simple to use than I remember microscopes being when I was in grade school. This could be fun for adults and kids alike. I like that it comes with a set of pre-made slides to look at, as well as some blank slides so you can create your own. Let's cultivate a healthy curiosity and excitement for the beautiful world around us!

Pretty good scope for the beginner, good price for the specs, good image quality, only reason I mark this down a star is because the plastic base came scratched pretty gnarly, luckily it's just the base.

I'd been on the lookout for a small digital microscope both for taking photos of coins and other items where I needed to have an extreme level of detail, as well as to show my kids the hidden worlds right in front of us. To that end this microscope has performed above all expectations.Pros:+ For the price, it is an excellent value.+ Built in battery adds a huge value as we can bring it into the yard, or wherever we want without worrying about power.+ USB-C charging is another huge plus, no more worrying about yet another proprietary charger to keep track of.+ Comes with sample slides to get you started.+ Extremely easy to use.+ Screen view is bright and clear and includes measurement guides.+ Digital zoom steps up the power of the already strong optical zoom significantly.+Taking a photo and recording video are a simple one touch operation, and it is easy to toggle between them.Cons:- N/AOverall, for the price, I honestly cannot find any downsides to this little microscope. It has many great features ranging from the USB-C power source and internal battery to the overall functionality and practicality of the device itself. You cannot go wrong with this microscope, and I feel like curious adults will find it just as fun to use as kids.

This has been a fantastic gift for our 9 year-old granddaughter! We bought an extra box of prepared slides, so she has a variety of things to look at. Last week her Mom said she had brought home a school friend and the two of them spent all afternoon looking at slides, rocks, coins, and whatever else they could fit on the stage.The viewing screen is a nice feature - much better than the monocular microscope I had as a kid. The image is bright and easy to see - especially with a selection of three LED light sources (above, below, and side). It also lets you make a video or take a picture of what you're looking at. I hope this will be a useful study aid when she starts taking more advanced science classes, too.Recommended.

A fairly decent Digital Microscope.Comes with a 1080P camera and 5-inch screen.Capable of magnifying up to 1000 times.Allows for video recording and taking photos, with a 32GB TF card included.Simple to use, with a knob for adjustments.However, the screen resolution feels a bit low, making it sometimes difficult to see details clearly when magnified.Could be a great gift for children to cultivate their interest in observation.

I use this weekly now for various tasks generally revolving around my gardening but it's been a joy to use for examination of mineral collections, coins, and I've even inspected a few tool parts for damage! Easy to use, holds a charge for a good long while and it's just a quick and easy solution.

This is a pretty neat microscope. It can be used by itself without a power cord or computer for most purposes.I did use the computer to capture a few images (used the OBS software) and to see things on a larger screen. There was some significant lag from time to time but this could be from the software. Using a computer display may not work great for soldering but is a good option for viewing still features or sharing with a larger audience.The microscope focus is easy to use. You basically use the up and down adjustment for a coarse zoom and then focus the image. The image quality is pretty good, but it does look slightly pixelated. The 8x digital zoom seems unnecessary for most situations but works well.Pressing the magnifying glass/light buttons briefly will cycle through the light settings. There is an overhead light that is great for opaque objects and a bottom light for slides.The microscope set comes with 4 premade slides with natural objects inside but also includes blank slides and pipettes.The instructions aren't very helpful and only cover basic operation of the microscope. However, everything is fairly intuitive.Overall, its a pretty good digital microscope that is priced appropriately. It will make a great gift for kids or a useful addition to your electronics bench.

I have always wanted a microscope, so I ordered this one.Pros:- It has its own independent screen, eliminating the need to connect to a phone. If needed, it can also connect via USB to a computer and use the monitor for clearer observations.- It features top-down lighting from the lens, bottom lighting and side lighting. The brightness of the lights is adjustable, and the side light can be adjusted to a certain height, addressing the issue of insufficient brightness.- It allows for video recording and taking photos, and it comes with a 32GB memory card.- The accompanying software allows for adjusting background and scale line colors.- It includes some prepared specimens, which is useful for beginners.Cons:- The base of the instrument is not level, causing some instability. I had to place a thin pad under one corner to make it stable.- While it provides some accessories, the user manual does not explain how to use those accessories.- The microscope camera cannot be detached, so you can only observe objects placed on its base.- The height adjustment range of the lens is limited, making it more suitable for observing flat objects. It may not be ideal for thicker objects.- The bottom lighting is weak, it may not be suitable for objects that require strong transmitted light observation, such as gemstones.In summary, it's an interesting microscope that can bring a lot of enjoyment. It works well for observing small flat objects' surfaces, like leaves, coins, and prepared specimens. However, if you want to examine larger or thicker objects or those requiring strong bottom-up lighting, it may not be suitable.

When I was a kid, using a microscope was exciting, but also a hassle. You had to adjust the eyepiece just so, and half the time you couldn't really focus correctly on what you were trying to see. If it didn't have a light, you had to move a mirror to reflect the light into the right place. This microscope takes all the hassle out and leaves the excitement. The screen is nice and large, allowing you to see minute details and lots of them. Adjusting the light and the focus is very, very easy. The instrument comes with a mini SD card, too,, so you can record what you see either in photos or video format. The set also comes with slides, covers, slides with specimens, droppers, a manual, a petri jar and a cloth with which to wipe the screen. Because the kit comes with some slides with specimens on them, including a honeybee wing and an ant, pine seed and onion skin, you can use the microscope right away (after charging with the enclosed cable), and you won't have to wait for daylight or good weather to go out collecting pond scum. It's great that they include these. The instrument takes up very little room, so it won't clutter a lab or bedroom. My homeschooled grandkids will eventually be able to use this when studying biology and ecology.
