Good enough but not great. We purchased this to help set the idle on our plane which has a funky tachometer at lower RPM. The challenge comes using this thing on a bright day as the sensor has a hard time seeing the contrast between the white reflective tape (included) and the spinning propeller it's taped to. So, to use this we wait until late in the day or find a shady spot to get the reading. When it works it appears to be very accurate. We also use it on our boat to measure pulley speeds. All-in it has proven very useful and cost effective and we would buy it again despite the midday challenges.

I tuned a predator 212. What I was thinking was 1600 rpm was way off lol. It was really easy to use this tachometer and I've used it on my bandsaw when I was gearing it to cut metal. You can convert the rpm to sfpm. Works great and I'll find other uses.
