works as described. the problem was when i had a power failure and device faulted to open, draining my pressure tank. not a good failure mode. i will not recommend.

The valve is very nice quality. But the software has one very bad flaw. I wanted to keep it but because of the software design mistake I sent it back.I wanted a WiFi programmable valve to schedule water supply for our animal deterrent sprinklers, which only run water when triggered by the motion and infrared sensors.The software for this valve requires water flow for timer schedules to work, otherwise they quit after 2 minutes. It doesn't matter how you use it, all program schedule methods and manual methods get the same result. It quits the settings if there is no water flow.I'm very disappointed that the software developers are so short sighted on how this valve might be used. The software design is better than I have seen for other WiFi valves, but the 2 minute time limit with no water flow killed it for me.

It has the capabilities to program the cycles from the smart phone and also manually operate the valve from the phone at will. The alternative to measure water volume instead of time in order to operate the valve is also a nice capability.As for installation, I do not give it a 5 star because on the instructions clearly reads that it works on the wifi 2.4 GHz band only.I found out that my wifi gateway was of a newer type capable of simultaneous operation of the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz bands, however in order to program the 2.4 GHz water valve I had to disable the other two bands, program the water valve and then enable all the frequency bands. Once this was done it worked well.The customer service fellows were very helpful. Without them I would have been lost........meaning I would had returned the valve due to the fact the initial installation failed.

Easy to install. Works perfectly and made it possible for me to keep my tomatoes watered using the city water restrictions schedule and made it possible to keep them watered while I was away too.

Every time we go on travel, we’ve had to have friends water our backyard garden. We finally decided to try a technical solution and boy are we happy. Once we figured out how to work this system (actually had help from one of our children) it’s been great. We watched the weather while on travel to see it was going to rain. It was so we were able to cancel rain for that day. This is a very efficient product and sturdily made as far as we can tell . We’ve only had it for a month and are very hopeful that it will last a long time.

When it was working at all, it would disconnect frequently. Batteries were new, router, Bluetooth plug and device where within 10 feet of each other. Still disconnected frequently. Bluetooth toggle is awkward and flimsy. App service had a huge lag in turning on and off. App settings would seldom accept changes to rain delay or timer programs. Most of the time it would still require manually turning on and off at the spigot. Contacted Diivoo support with zero response. Only had the device for four months, have a three zone timer from same company that works very well but supported by different app. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MODEL OR ANY DEVICE THAT USES SMARTLIFE APP. 4 months lifetime is a joke.

The Bluetooth/wifi constantly disconnects so it takes forever to connect when it actually does. The water turns off minutes after turning on even when I turn it on manually.

The Amazon reviews were great, except maybe not great enough, This unit exceeds on all levels but ESPECIALLY in the water flow area. You can not beat the functionaly of this model, highly recommend. Easy to use, takes a few minutes to get used to the UI but a breeze after that.

I have been using my manual dual zone sprinkler module however it was quite annoying to set up outdoors. This is where the smart sprinkler system solves that issue. I can remotely start anytime at once and also has a schedule that is obeying.Set up was quite easy, no issues with the Bluetooth module that plugs into the wall connecting to the sprinkler module.

The water meter is good, reason bought because can show the water meter used. It's worked and love it. The app is simple to uses and timer is convenient.
