Somehow my avital remote start got into garage/valet mode. Lights flashed 9 times but wouldn't start. I bought this item and plugged it into the blue port. Turn key on and off hit the button and it disabled garage mode. Now remote start works perfectly.

Plugged new button into the port where the old broken button was plugged in; hooked my battery back up, turned the key to run, alarm blaring so loud Hellen Keller could hear it - I pressed the button one time and it quit blaring immediately. Very pleased; much better to spend 15 dollars for a button than 80 for a new key fob

I had Viper Remote Starters installed by Crystal Toyota in NJ. They DID NOT install the Valet Switch on either of my vehicles. Why? Prob to make me come back to them in the future.At any rate, bought two and plugged them and was able to program my new remote starters in less than a minute. BTW this Valet Switch is about 6 feet long and more than enough to route to a convenient location under the dash.You need to locate the black Remote Starter Black Box to plug this into. On one car, I had to remove the lower dash panel on the drivers side in order to get access to it. On the other car, it was under the drivers side dash zip tied up high to another wire harness. If you are buying this than more than likely you know what you in for. Not complicated but do this when not in a rush. Good luck!

I needed this cable to program a new fob I purchased for my remote start. The program cable worked perfectly, priced great and even arrived early. This cable was also long enough so I didn't have to lay under the dash to program the new fob
