Nothing very complicated here. These sinkers work great on rigs that use a sinker slide as well as your traditional "drop" and "Hi-Lo" setups.

I've used these before but in lower ounces. I needed these 8 oz for Missouri River current. I recommend these for a spot in your tackle box.
