The product arrived within a day or so. I found that my existing monitors used DVI and the new laptop computer required USB-C type. I ordered online and once received I connected the new cable and everything works.As expected, no surprises.

Es importante destacar que la descripción del producto indica que contiene un chip que convierte la señal de DP(origen de señal, Tarjeta de Video) a DVI (destino de señal, monitor) para que la consideres al momento de hacer tu compra porque si lo que necesitas es convertir la señal de DVI a DP necesitarás otro tipo de cable.

I got this cable mainly to get my older monitors with only DVI input working with computer or laptop docking station that has only displayport. I have a few legacy DVI monitors with 1920 x 1200 resolution still in good working condition for general computer usage. The cable allows video to transmit to the DVI only older monitor so it can be used for another few years. It is displayport to DVI only, not the reverse. The cable is well made.
