Worked just as good as one from the part store. Arrived quick and half the cost as local parts store.

UPDATE 9/27/2004This already started leaking about 4-5 months after replacing it. Someone warned in the comments when I bought it that the gaskets are gaerbage and you'd be doing the job again within a year...I should have listened. Still no idea if you get better gaskets with the Dorman, but I'm pissed I have to rip this thing off again.I torqued this to all the specs in the order they indicated at the time I made the repair! I will take a shot at maybe re-torquing but it DID NOT LEAK for the first several months. For the record, mine is leaking at the passenger side rear apparently. Fouled my #4 cylinder and I had to pull it out and clean it up today. Coolant definitely pouring out of the engine valley again. I need a new daily! LOL.------------------I don't know the difference between this one and the OEM replacement ones. They look identical to me.This is a helluva DIY job but truck runs good again. No misfires. No giant antifreeze lake in the engine valley. It does seem more cheaply made than the original, as other have stated. So, to avoid breaking stuff, check your testosterone at the door. Things don't need to be that tight anyway (this goes doubly for the coil hold down screws.) ALSO, do yourself a big favor and find the torque sequence and make sure your torque wrench actually works. 18 ft-lbs seems like a lot. But I'm here to say, mine didn't break and it's working great!

Everything needed came with the part. Watched a YouTube video on how to replace the manifold. The part came with no damage and works flawlessly. I saved over 1000 bucks doing this myself. It's easy if you take your time. Total time to remove/replace was about 6 hours.

Quality seems a bit on the low end. The self tapper screws are a big red flag. Mine actually broke during the installation of my fuel rails. I had to send a different screw at an angle just to hold on my fuel rail. I had to over torque the thermostat housing in order for the gasket to seal properly. Over all I would have said save my money for a real ford parts next time but until then I will ride this one out. So far ima about 3k miles on the new intake

Pros.It fit well and was easy to install. Came with all fasteners required gaskets installed into the manifold.Low cost.Fix the notorious coolant crossover leak for cheap!Cons.Fasteners made of cheaper metal and are a screw instead of having threads and metal inserts like oem manifold.Gaskets are pre installed, and aren’t replaceable. The PVC hose adapter on the back side of the manifold is detachable and the seal is not very good, I epoxied it down to make a better seal, but I feel it could have been designed better.Price is very good and you get what you pay for. I would recommend to someone who needs to replace the manifold on a budget. Just keep in minds the cons when buying.

I bought this due to a broken factory intake leaking coolant at the crossover. I paid $200CAD for this intake after reading plenty of reviews online. I didnt want to pay the extra $ for genuine Ford intake and I figured the DNA intake would do the job.I didnt see instructions but had no issues with the install. New thermostat was included. Had no issues with the self tapping screws.I suggest spark plugs and injector o-rings at the same time.Overall really happy with the product.

Had a common failure of my intake manifold. Got it all taken apart and ordered this one. There seemed to be enough positive reviews that I was willing to take the chance. I wanted to follow up for those who end up in the same boat. The gaskets are integrated into the design which made install pretty easy. The screws for the coils and some of the brackets use self-tapping screws into the plastic body. Just make sure not to over tighten these. The fuel rails lined up great and I replaced the o-rings since I had the injectors pulled. You will use the oem bolts to mount it to the engine block. The mounts for the throttle body also use the oem screws. If you take your time it goes super smooth. Took the expedition for a 2 hour test drive and it runs great. I replced spark plugs while I was in there. Also, this includes a thermostat and new gasket. I had a bit of trouble getting one of the screws for the thermostat housing to tighten and I had waited to bold on the housing till I was pretty deep in the project. If I were to do it again I would recommend getting those screws started before you tighten down the intake manifold. I was able to get it but would have been easier. Other than that it seems like a great part. I'll update this in a few months. Fuel economy seems to be increased and power is good. I'm a happy camper.

I have been driving my truck now for a month since repairs were made. Intake manifold had to be replaced do to coolant leak.I had the manifold changed out by Bob's my Shop, they are a highly respected shop in Lake Havasu City where I reside. My truck was just shy of 141,000 miles so I had the plugs and coil packs changed out with the intake exchange. My truck runs like new again and they did not have one issue changing out the new intake. The Labor cost for the complete job came to $700.00It was very hard for me to spend the money since I use to do this work once upon a time. My body is very broken now so I no longer can do this type of work but I fell the $700. was well wort the price of having my truck back and I would not HESITATE to buy the new Intake Manifold again ! WELL WORTH THE $'s I SPENT.
