This is one of those random tools that you never knew you wanted or needed until you use it. It is dead simple to use and centers the router base perfectly and instantly every time. Works on both 1/4" and 1/2" collets by flipping the pin over. An absolute must have for high precision jobs where placement of the base is important. Easy to store and easy to use. The perfect tool in every regard. You don't need it to use your router, but you will be glad to have it. I am genuinely impressed. Highly recommend.
