This is a great pet comb it has a nice weighty feel and feels comfortable to hold and use. It’s high quality too. It works really well on my cats dense fuzzy fur and gets out any knots painlessly. I highly recommend

I really like this comb. It is comfortable to hold for long periods and it works well. It has 2 different space distances so you can comb mats out easily. I would recommend.

This comb works well for my Maine Coon cat. He has an undercoat, and this comb reaches down into it. The metal teeth are rounded on the ends and not rough or sharp. The comb works nicely for his daily grooming session, and this seems to be one of his preferred combs. (He bites or smacks the combs and brushes that he doesn’t like.) The handle is comfortable to hold, and it doesn't slip.

I spend a ridiculous amount of time brushing and combing the various long haired pets in this house so really have come to appreciate this comb. If your pets are matted you will need to deal with that first but if you're just doing a regular brush out, this comb is great. It's very sturdy and actually comfortable to hold, something that is super important if you're regularly holding on to it for 20 minutes plus at a time. I have other combs that have the same tooth structure but no grip on top - i.e., just rounded metal - and, without fail, my hand starts to cramp with those after 10 minutes or so. This comb has become the go to comb and is holding up well, it's been used for hours now on some pretty rough coats, teeth all holding steady, regularly removes undercoats with no scratched skin. I would absolutely buy this again if I needed to replace. Good comb.

I have 2 cats who truly don't like being brushed... they are short haired so tangles really aren't an issue but I think this comb would work wonders if they were.... it's really good quality and is very sturdy. unlike with brushes my cats allow me to comb them... so that's good... the comb seems durable and like it will last a long time

I have a small white maltese. His name is Leo and he loves to get dirty and play outside. I shower him often, but he gets lose of knots in his hair. I was looking for a comb for him so I could use it brush his hair and also get rid of any knots. The one thing I like about this comb is the metal pins (plastic sometimes breaks of because of the strength of his hair). One side of the comb has pins that are close to each other while the other side has pins that are further apart - would definitely recommend the closer side for tighter knots. Leo's been looking great after getting this comb. If you're looking for something durable and affordable, this comb is something I'd recommend.

This dog comb for tangles and knots probably works best on dogs with rough, long, thick fur. My Aussie dog, which I recently rescued, had just shed his winter coat so I didn't find this comb helpful on his smoother shorter hair. In fact, I like combs with fine teeth tightly spaced for removing burrs and ticks on the surface, but the fine teeth on this comb are not spaced tightly enough to do that very effectively.I will store this comb until cold weather once again encourages the growth of a winter coat on my dog. Since the tool seems very durable, esp. having stainless steel teeth, there should be no concerns about leaving it outdoors. And, it should be a good help with tangles.
